No Lifeguard on Duty is a mixed-media installation that draws from personal experiences in late-night parks. The piece unfolds as a narrative in three separate scenarios of playing swings, each moment infused with surreal events.

The work is loosely threaded together with visual elements inspired by a viral image of a deer following a tiger and footage of a tiger playing on a swing, juxtaposing wildness and domesticity, reality, and fantasy. These elements contribute to the overarching narrative of the installation, which explores the tension between what is seen and unseen, known and unknown, controlled and uncontrollable.
