Yangqi Deng is a mixed-media artist working across video, photography, and installation. Her practice playfully investigates the connections between seemingly unrelated elements, blending factual and fictional materials into non-linear visual narratives to challenge common sense.
She received an MFA in Digital+Media at the Rhode Island School of Design and a BFA in Digital Media Arts from the Art College of Xiamen University. Currently working at Insta360.
